Himalayan Sleeping Bag named 16 Bihar in awe of the gallantry performance of our troops of 16 Bihar in Galwan.
This sleeping bag has been designed after extensive research and testing during 2020 winters. Trek leaders slept in just a t-shirt at the Kedarkantha base camp in freezing snow.
It consists of waterproof outer and inner cloth to minimize loss of heat.
There are five layers of protection at the feet and 4 layers for the upper half. 2 layers of premium hollow fiber synthetic insulation on both top and bottom are adequate to capture your body heat and give you a toasty night sleep. There is an additional fleece on the bottom to warm your feet sooner for a faster sleep.
The design is a snug fit reducing exposure even to the face.
We have used YKK zip with reversible runner, this zip is only till the knees on one side, so that there is no heat loss through the zip either.
Draft tubes with draw cord and draw cord lock are provided at the shoulder and face.
Length of the sleeping bag with hood is 7.5 feet, shoulder width is 2.8 feet and at the knees it is 2 feet wide.
Weight is approximately 2.7 kgs
Comes with a compression sack made with heavy duty 1000 denier military grade fabric and packing size is 16 x 12 inches
