The groundsheet is heavy duty and puncture resistant, there is no water ingress even if you pitch the tent over a small pool of water, it is raised on the sides to give a tub design so that you do not have to dig a narrow channel around your tent. No need to carry an additional tarp with your tent. The guy lines are provided to anchor your tent for the high windy places. Poles are made with aluminum alloy, this is ideal for beginners as the poles are forgiving and can handle abuse and misuse. They might go out of shape but do not break.
